Students are encouraged to drop in or make an appointment to access materials and/or assistance with:

  • Self-discovery, career exploration and decision-making,
  • Post-Secondary calendars and application procedures,
  • Occupational research,
  • Resume writing,
  • Labour market information and job search skills.

FLEX TALKS - throughout the school year post secondary institutions are invited to present and answer questions. Careers of interest are highlighted with guest speakers in semester 2. Students sign up for the various talks in their flex session sign up.

Cochrane High believes the myBlueprint program contains many layers of helpfulness along your career journey. Focused work using myBlueprint begins in Grade 9 HLS and continues in CALM.  Both counsellors and the career advisor utilize this program in one on one sessions with students and parents.  Click the viewlet below to take you to the log in and begin exploring.
