Gender Studies
By focusing on a broader human rights perspective, Gender Studies equips students to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion. With an emphasis on intersectionality, we examine how gender — along with other facets of identity such as class, race/ethnicity, sexuality, ability, and age — impacts lived experience. Students are provided a safe and constructive environment in which to think critically, engage in respectful discussions, and explore key topics relating to social justice.
